Michel Korb en quelques mots
Né en 1960, Michel Korb, fils de Nathan Korb (Francis Lemarque), étudie le piano, avant de s’orienter vers l’écriture musicale. Il achève ses études au Berklee School of Music de Boston et obtient en 1984 son diplôme de film Scoring. Parallèlement à son cursus jazz, Michel Korb explore d’autres univers et travaille avec Didier Malherbe, Renaud Pion, Philippe Smadje et Roland Romanelli.
Par la suite, ses passions l’amèneront de plus en plus vers le cinéma et la musique à l’image, il compose de nombreuses B.O :

Il travaille avec le Le Quatuor, Anne Kreis pour Dialogues de bêtes, Daniel Mesguish, Gregori Baquet pour La raison du plus fou Francis Lemarque,Thomas Dutronc, Sanseverino, Enzo Enzo, Romain Didier,Vanessa Paradis, Rachel des Bois, Pierre Grillet, etc…
C’est en 2018 qu’il crée un spectacle autour de Francis Lemarque, son père. S’ensuit un album de 12 chansons « Michel Korb chante Francis Lemarque » Entre jazz et musique populaire, ritournelles et chansons à texte, chansons pour enfants, chansons engagées avec la participation de quelques artistes invités dont Thomas Dutronc, Sanseverino, Audrey, Enzo Enzo et Romain Didier.
A few words about Michel Korb
Michel korb (based in Paris France) finished his studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and, in 1984, was awarded his diploma in film scoring.
While following a jazz programme, Michel Korb came to explore various other areas of music, including world music, classical music and electronic music.. Progressively, his love for music drew him more and more into cinema.

He worked with Anne Kreis and Catherine Lagarde for the play « Dialogue de bêtes ». He worked with Gregori Baquet for the play “La raison du plus fou”.
He works as a composer and arranger with Francis Lemarque,,Thomas Dutronc, Sanseverino, Enzo Enzo, Romain Didier,Vanessa Paradis, Rachel des Bois, Pierre Grillet, etc…
He has conducted for several orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris, and the European Orchestra.
In 2018 he give a tribute to his father, Francis Lemarque, and release a CD of 12 songs “Michel Korb Chante Francis Lemarque” Between Jazz and popular music.
