Stay to the left and you will re-enter the forest by way of the yellow-blazed Frye Path. The nearest being maybe 3/4 of a mile, give or take, in the direction that you come in on. This is a popular trail for birding, camping, and hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. Section Update.
